How does installation work?
Our engineers install your tracker at your home, storage site, or dealership anywhere in the UK.
Where is the tracker fitted?
Trackers are installed in discreet hidden locations to make them difficult to detect.
Can I install the tracker myself?
Some battery-powered products can be self-installed. Hard-wired systems require professional installation.
Can I move the tracker to another vehicle?
Yes. Most trackers can be removed and reinstalled in a new vehicle for an additional cost.

Is tracking available outside the UK?

Is live tracking available 24 7?
Yes. Live tracking systems provide round-the-clock monitoring and alerts.
Why can’t I see live tracking on Mi01?
Because the Mi01 isn’t a live tracking device. It was specially designed to activate once per day to be almost impossible to detect by thieves. The system will however activate if a theft attempt happens and if your vehicle is stolen, the device activates to aid in its recovery.
Is the app easy to use?
Yes. The app is designed to be simple and easy to manage from your phone or tablet.

You receive an alert and our monitoring team works with police to recover your vehicle. If you have an S5 device installed in your vehicle, our emergency call centre will contact you to notify you that unauthorised movement has been detected. This also applies if you have an alarm fitted. If you have one of our S7 tracking devices fitted, we encourage you to use the 24/7 monitoring capability on the MiPhantom app and contact our team if you notice your device has moved or if you have any concerns.

Many vehicles are recovered within hours thanks to live alerts and 24/7 monitoring.

Will the tracker drain my battery?
For live tracking units, battery life is used however power usage is minimal. This can be monitored on the app for full visibility.
How long does battery backup last?
The backup battery is only related to wired units like our iTrack units, for example, and the time is usually between 12-24 hours, with a maximum of 48 hours.
Can I use a tracker on an asset without power?
Yes. Battery-powered devices are available for non-powered assets.
